Time Magazine recently released their choices for top websites and while the list was interesting and I have included many of them here, I think they missed a bunch that you might find interesting and useful.
Music Reviews
Pitchforkmedia.com and Exclaim.ca are the sites for new music, but if like me, you like a little local and a few old favourites thrown in try Uptownmag.com.
Internet Radio
Live360.com, iTunes, and Last.fm all stream online radio. But if you want to have a bit of fun head for the college stations like CJAM 91.5 out of Windsor/ Detroit. http://web2.uwindsor.ca/cjam/index.html.

Gasbuddy.com is becoming more popular with every cent gas prices climb. Want to receive a certain catalogue or better yet want to rid yourself of an unwanted one visit catalogchoice.org. Fashionistas try Omiru, real style for real people.

Health
Check a bunch sites, visit your doctor and refrain from self-diagnosis, but Health .com and WedMD are the best of the lot.

We all know about google maps and mapquest but I think MapJack might be the future of 3D mapping.

Geni and Ancestry.com are good places to start your research.
Blogs
Boingboing.net is the most popular blog in the world.
Postsecret.blogspot.com where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a postcard.
Bollywoodcricket.blogspot.com Yup, its all about Bollywood and the sport of Cricket.
Blogofherbs.com a herbal alternative medicine blogger.
Fun
Lookybooks lets you flip through kid’s books before buying. McNallyrobinson.com has updated their site and it is quirky and fun.
Urbandictonary.com with have you understanding the younger crowd in no time homie.

Mise en Scene "Still Life On Fire"

This band has exploded over the last year gaining attention in Paris, England, Australia and Germany but is still playing small clubs when it returns, as it must, to Winnipeg. Perhaps this will change with the release of “Still Life on Fire”. I admit that I have seen Mise en Scene 3 or 4 times in the last couple of years and came away underwhelmed by their live performance. But…this record has been a truly eye opening experience. Stefani Blondal Johnson’s vocals are passionate, with a real emotional depth and stunning, shimmering quality that was missing live. There is a savage energy here that is found in punk, spanked guitar, pinched organs and the pounding drums of Jodi Dunlop. iPod VIOP

We all by now have seen and many of us own an Apple iPod. We know that it is a wonderful music player and some of us have used it to store a music video or maybe even a movie or two. Apple’s latest version is the iPod Touch and it has a few more tricks than your iPod Nano, Shuffle or Classic.
